Hi! I'm Ilia and I have a passion capturing life’s greatest moments into small frames. I specialize in engagements, weddings, family and branding. I am located in Bradford, Ontario, so you will frequently find my mini sessions based out Bradford, Newmarket, Innisfil and surrounding areas, but I will travel wherever my camera takes me. Let me capture your little moments, turning them into your memories.
Ever since I can recall I have always been surrounded by art. I began my artistic journey at the age of 5 when my parents signed me up for ballroom classes which then led me to pursue the craft for the next 11 years. It wasn’t until taking film class at the age of 12 where I fell in love with holding a camera. The nostalgia of 35mm film from capturing to the darkroom process really blew me away and I began to really get invested in the craft. I think going through the process of true film is what inspired my "Documentary Styled" approach to capturing moments as they happen.
I’ll be honest, I am not a huge fan of posed photography where everyone looks as their last picture gets taken. I believe the TRUE captures happen between Point A to B and this is the styled approach I now take with me everywhere. Getting candid laughter during our time together is my entire existence.
